Yoga Classes

Good Morning!!! With the increased tension and pressure of all the co-curricular activities along with studies, we have noticed that the students are stressed and something needs to be done to relieve them. Keeping this in mind we are launching up with the age-old solution to this i.e. Yoga.

The following text gives you the details for the same.

Yoga, an ancient art and a proven technique by ‘Maharshi Patanjali’ since Vedic times for overall well-being. Yoga is not mere acrobatics, it is a holistic approach uniting the Body, Mind and Spirit. It provides and integrated and holistic understanding at a young age, has a lot of Benefits (Mental, Physical, Emotional and Spiritual)viz.

Planning to conduct 2 Sessions on 2 consecutive days or 2 Sundays of 2 hrs. Each.
Venue : Savarkar Rashtriya Smarak, 252, Veer Savarkar Marg, Next to Mayor’s Bungalow, Dadar (w), Mumbai - 400 028.
Time : 8 am to 10 am
Fees : Rs.300/- per head (for both sessions)

Session I : Day One

 Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar-12 postures)

Pranayam (Bhastrilka, Udgeer- Chanting of ‘OM’ and Bhramari with related Mudras and Chakras means Energy Centres).

Different Types of Aasanas to improve concentration and to relieve Stress.

Session II : Day Two

 Pranayam (Kapalabhanti and Anulom Wilom)

 Stretching Exercises

 Healthy Tips @ Food habits (You are what you Eat!)
